This is one of my sister Susie’s favorite cocktails. In our family it was traditionally served during Christmas. However, we now drink it on occasion, but it still reminds us of all of our “Big, extended family Christmas traditions!” I have also put ingredient amounts in cups, because that is how I made it and I think that it will be easier for the home cook/mixologist to make. I did put amounts in ounces as well. Makes 4 as shown.
3/4 of a cup (6 oz.) of Amaretto, such as, Disaronno
1 cup (16 oz) of Sweet & Sour Mix
Maraschino cherries and orange slice for garnish (optional)
Fill 4 – 8 ounce highball glass with ice. Add a quarter of the Amaretto and a quarter of the sweet and sour mix to each glass and stir. Serve with garnish.
