This is an incredibly easy sauce for your favorite pasta, pizza or a dipping sauce.
2 teaspoons olive oil
4 – 6 garlic cloves minced more or less depending on taste
1 tablespoon of mixed Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon of fennel
1 – 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
3 – 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce
In a large pot, add olive oil and sauté garlic over medium heat. Add herbs and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat to low and simmer for about an hour or longer to blend flavors. Pour over your favorite pasta and enjoy! Will keep refrigerated for 3 days.
