Limoncello Martini

A refreshing take on the traditional martini, which is perfect for anytime of the year that you want a taste of freshness! Ingredient amounts are in cups and ounces, because we believe that it will be easier for the home cook/mixologist to make. If you can’t purchase colored sugar, add a few drops of yellow food coloring to granulated sugar. Ingredient amounts will make one drink.

Ingredients

1/4 cup (2 oz.) of Vodka
1/4 cup (2 oz.) Limoncello or lemon liqueur
Ice
Colored sugar for garnish (optional)
Lemon peel for garnish (optional)

Technique

Place all ingredients in a shaker, except for garnish. Shake well. If garnishing with sugar, place colored sugar on a small plate, smear the rim of the glass with a lemon and dip the rim into the sugar moving in a circular fashion until evenly coated. Strain into a martini glass. No ice should be present. Add lemon peel if using and enjoy!
