Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Make a pork roast or tenderloin the night before and the next night make an easy and family/crowd pleasing sandwich!  The amounts of BBQ sauce and beer will vary depending on how much leftover pork you have. I add beer to the meat, because it will make it moist.  Serving amounts will vary on how much pork is leftover and how much you prefer on your roll.  For all you Texan’s top it off with coleslaw for a perfect sandwich!

Ingredients

4 cups of leftover pork shredded
1 ½ cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 can/bottle of beer
Kaiser rolls or your favorite type of roll
Premade coleslaw for adding to the sandwich (optional)

Technique

Add the first three ingredients to the slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on high for about a half hour to an hour depending on how much pork was leftover. Cook until pork is warmed. Serve on a Kaiser roll or a roll of your choice. Nice complements to serve with the sandwich are pickles, potato chips or coleslaw.  For me – gotta have the slaw or it just isn’t a sandwich!
