You can make this easy side dish any day of the week. A lot of steakhouses feature this because it is simple and easy to make. Almonds are a perfect pairing for green beans and add great crunch. If you can find a variety of different colored beans, such as, yellow, purple and green, use a mix for great presentation.
1 lb. of green beans, stems removed (or a variety of colored beans)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/3 cup of sliced almonds
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Sauté beans until tender and slightly browned. Add kosher salt and almonds and sauté until almonds begin to brown. Remove and serve family style.
