Simple syrup is very simple to make. It is used in many beverages and we use it in all of our margaritas. So those of you that can’t find it or would rather make your own here is the ratio.
1 part sugar (for example 1/2 cup)
2 parts water (for example 1 cup)
Use a small, medium or large sauce pan. Add both ingredients to the sauce pan, whisk and bring to a boil. Boil for about 5 minutes and let cool before making your drink or what you intend to use it for. It will reduce only slightly. For the ratio listed above the end result was 3/4 of a cup.
