Sparkling wine – or as we probably all call it Champagne even though it can’t be called Champagne unless it comes from the Champagne region of France – is perfect for any celebration! And in my opinion every day is worth celebrating! I have chosen a few of my favorite “go to” sparkling wines that I sip for special occasions and sometimes for no reason at all – who says we can’t enjoy a glass of bubbly anytime! I selected to feature three that are inexpensive – each was under $15 a bottle and you should be able to easily find them and three that are more of a splurge at under $50 for a bottle. Also if you want to be more festive add fruit to your sparkling wine such as pomegranates. Cheers!
