For Valentine’s Day I wanted to offer 2 entrees – 1 that features seafood and the other that features a filet for those that prefer a succulent steak! However, I couldn’t resist starting out with a seafood appetizer! If you can get super fresh oysters – I highly recommend them on the half shell with cocktail sauce and Tabasco sauce as a starter. It’s Valentine’s Day and oysters are perfect for starting out your romantic dinner! If you replace the clams with oysters I would highly recommend pairing it with a sparkling wine. Another great option for dessert that is super easy and pairs well with the theme of this menu is Banana’s Foster. The compound butter needs to be made ahead of time and you can top the filet with any shape you prefer but the heart seemed perfect for Valentine’s Day!
