Who would have guessed that a simple spatula could be a great tool! (Okay I call it a flipper, but that is exactly what you use it for!) However, it is and one of the reasons why this one in particular is great is that it has a slight curve from middle to tip. That is what makes it perfect for getting under food to flip such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, crêpes to name a few and of course fish!  Although the one I purchased was specifically labeled as a tool for fish, it has gotten a work-out in my kitchen flipping other types of food!  I believe I purchased mine at Sur la Table, but cannot remember how much I spent. I have my picks in The Shop.
