Fall Dinner Party (Pork Tenderloin with Butternut Squash Risotto)

I love Fall with all the wonderful warm colors (as you can see by the colors of my website) and the vast variety of flavors!  Even though it is “back-to-school” time and we are all crazy busy, dinner parties are in full swing.  I think that perhaps everyone wants to reconnect after summer vacations and such.  I hope you enjoy all the fun flavors of Fall in this menu along with the Black Forest Cake which I think of as a taste of Germany!  Which reminds me Oktoberfest is around the corner if not in full swing already and that is reason enough to throw a party!

With the entrée a Chardonnay or a Pinot Noir will pair nicely depending on your preference.  Or if it is a larger dinner party, try both!  If you are a beer lover try Pumpkin Spice Ales or select one from my German Oktoberfest Style Beers.  For the appetizer I would highly recommend a sweeter style of wine – try a Fume Blanc or a Riesling from my German Riesling Flight.
