Ribs are not only delicious and easy to make, but versatile in the ingredients you add for flavor.Â Dump all the ingredients in a pot and cook for two hours and dinner is ready – talk about easy!Â This recipe is a cross between a Latin and an Asian take of a sweet and spicy sauce.Â The ingredient amounts will serve 2.Â Adjust amounts to accommodate the number of people serving.Â If you are increasing the ingredient amounts make sure to bake a bit longer.
1 lb. of pork loin ribs
1/4 cup of canned chipotle chili in an adobe (preferably Esparanza brand)
1/4 cup Simple Syrup (If you donâ€™t want to make it, use a purchased kind.)
A sprinkle of kosher salt
Non-stick cooking spray
Spray a medium to large sized Dutch oven or other large pot with non-stick cooking spray. Place ribs flesh side down into pot. Sprinkle with kosher salt. Evenly spread the remaining ingredients over the top of the ribs. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 300 degrees for two hours or until meat easily comes off the bones.
