Greek Seasoned Pita Chips

Pita bread is great to have on hand to make a quick snack or to serve with cheese, hummus or couscous. Normally they are just baked, but this version adds more flavor with the addition of Greek seasoning. For a great dipping snack try Basic Hummus.


1 – 12 oz. package of pita bread
1 tablespoon of Greek seasoning
3 tablespoons of olive oil
A light sprinkle of kosher salt


In a large bowl whisk together seasoning, oil and a light sprinkle of salt. Cut pita bread into 6 or 8 pie shaped pieces. Toss in the oil mixture until well combined. Place evenly on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Remove and eat as is or with your favorite accompaniment.
